Welcome to KEskuri Photography, LLC!

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Kim for those of you who don’t know me. I am so happy you are checking out my work. My love for photography started at a young age when I would snag the disposable cameras from other tables at weddings and go take my own pictures. It became a hobby in high school and blossomed into a little side business in college. I finally started my own business when I moved to Rochester, MN. It’s been an amazing journey so far. I love meeting new people, learning so much about who I am in the process, challenging myself and surpassing goals every year. This adventure didn’t happen over night and things certainly didn’t happen how I planned.

Now photography isn’t my only passion. I went to the College of St. Benedict for my bachelors in biology and then went on to Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences for my bachelors in nursing. St. Bens and Boston were both amazing chapters in my life. They helped me develop my independent, extroverted, beer/wine loving, running addict, travel bug, loud, busy body personality.

So from the day to day I work at Mayo’s St. Mary’s hospital in the Cardiac ICU which is a recent but amazing change from their trauma/general surgery department. I have been spoiled by Mayo for 4+ years and can’t imagine working for a better company. I get asked a lot if I would ever go full time photographer and I really can’t imagine not being a nurse. But I would love to not work nights, holidays and weekends. The great thing about nursing is the road is endless and forever changing.
